Beijing Capital International Airport, China

The Beijing Capital International Airport is the largest and busiest airport in China. It has rapidly ascended in rankings of the world’s busiest airports in the past decade. In 2008, passenger volumes have doubled to 55.94 million, making Beijing Capital International Airport the 8th busiest airport in the world.

To accommodate the growing traffic volume, Beijing Capital International Airport expanded its existing terminals to include a new Terminal 3 in 2008.
