SYSTEM HIGHLIGHTS
- The baggage carousel is designed with contoured rubber or stainless steel flights forming a continuous, flat rotating surface to receive the bags directly from a feeding conveyor or by manual placement for bag claim applications.
- There are 2 types of baggage carousels which are inclined carousels and flat carousels.
- It can be used as claim device at the Arrival hall wherein the bags are claimed by passengers.
- All inbound carousel surfaces exposed to the public are made of (304) stainless steel.
- The bags moving on this endless loop are sorted to dollies manually, if this device is used at apron area for make-up purpose.
- The outbound carousel cladding is made of mild steel.
- It can be configured into O-shape, U-shape, T-shape and L-shape.
- Drive components are adequately sized to suit the live load and speed of the conveyor and are rated for long life, 24 hours per day operation.
